Destinations: Hoei Sai-Luangnamtha-Muongsing-Udomxai-Phongsali-Muong Khua-Muong Ngoi-Luangprabang (by overland & boat).

Laos Adventure 2.

Day 1 Arrive Ban Hoeisai
Welcome at Ban Hoeisai. Transfer to hotel and at leisure.
Overnight at Thaveesinh Hotel or similar (Std hotel).

Day 2 Ban Hoeisai-Luangnamtha (B)
(192kms distance about 8hrs overland rough road)

After breakfast, drive up to Luangnamtha. En route, visit hill tribe villages of Ban Laten, Kh'mu and H'mong. Overnight at Vilah Hotel or local guesthouse in Luangnamtha.

Day 3 Luangnamtha-Muongsing 60kms (B)
After breakfast, visit the local market and hand-weaving and silk making villages nearby of Luangnamtha. Drive to Muongsing to visit the minority villages of Thai dam, Hmong, Khmu, Laten and Ekor.

Start trekking at the halfway from Ban Sop E to Muongsing about 4-5hrs through hill tribe villages. Overnight at Phou Eaw or Singchaleun Hotel or local guesthouse in Muongsing.

Day 4 Muongsing- Luangnamtha-Udomxai 177 kms (B)
Early morning, visit the local market and you'll see the local people with their traditional dresses selling and buying their products in the market.
Breakfast and depart to visit the Yao villages and the local Laos-China border check point (Pangthong), and continue journey to Udomxai via Luangnamtha.
En route,visit the minority villages of Hmong and Khmu along the road. Overnight at Litha Vixai Hotel or similar (Std hotel) in Udomxai.

Day 5 Udomxai-Phongsali (By overland 232kms) (B)
After breakfast, visit the local market and driving up to Phongsali is an isolated province in the northernmost of the country sharing borders with China & Vietnam.

En route, you will visit the hill tribe villages and the former "French military Post" Ban Boun Tai. Overnight at Phongsali Hotel or similar (local std hotel).

Day 6 Phongsali-Ban Hatsa-Muongkhua-Nong Kheaw (By boat) (B)
After breakfast, drive to Ban Hatsa. Take the boat on Nam Ou River to Muongkhua-Muong Ngoi (Nong Kheaw). You'll enjoy the beautiful scenery and villages along the riverside. Overnight local guesthouse. Nong Kheaw.

Day 7 Nongkheaw-Luangprabang (by boat) (B)
After breakfast, take the normal boat top Luangpraang by passing the typical villages and touching the real life of the villagers going about their everyday affairs of fishing, trading and washing along the rivers. Stop visiting Pakou caves and observe the traditional production of rice wine distillation at Ban Sanghai.
Late afternoon, arrive Luangprabang, transfer to hotel for check in and at leisure. Overnight at Ban Lao or Rama Hotel (Std hotel).

Day 8 Luangprabang (B)
After breakfast, visit the royal temples; Wat Visun, Wat Saen, Wat Mai, Wat Xiengthong and Phousi Mountain and former king's Palace.

Afternoon, drive to visit Kuangsi waterfalls some 30kms. Visit the hill tribe village of Ban Thapaen and do a short walking along the path of the falls.
Overnight at Ban Lao or Rama Hotel (Std hotel).

Day 9 Luangprabang-Vangvieng 245kms (B)
After breakfast, visit the local market and silver smith shops, and continue journey to Vang Vieng district through the scenic mountain road. On arrival, check in and overnight at hotel (Std hotel).

Day 10 Vangvieng Kayak trip (B/L)
After breakfast, visit the local market and transfer to Namxong River for a scenic kayak trip of approximately 5hrs. We'll have picnic lunch at the riverside. Overnight at hotel (Std hotel).

Day 11 Vangvieng-Vientiane 150kms (B)
After breakfast, drive to Vientiane. On arrival, check in, fresh and depart to visit the historic temples such as Wat Prakeo, Wat Sisaket, ThatLuang and Patuxai (Vistory gate). Remaining time at leisure. Overnight at Hotel Lao (Std hotel).

Day 12 Departure from Vientiane (B)
After breakfast at hotel and at leisure until transfer to airport for departure.

Guests can connect flights to Bangkok, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Siem Reap, Phnom Penh, and Chiang Mai (few flights a week) with advance arrangement.
