Destinations: Vientiane-Luangprabang-Vangvieng Activities: Visit ancient palaces and temples of Laos in Vientiane, Luangprabang (Cultural World Heritage site), Kuangsi waterfall and Pakou cave along the Mekong River, the home of 1,000s of Buddha images, where king of Luangprabang often meditated, visit hill tribe villages, local weaving places, kayak in the Namsong River in scenic Vangvieng.

Day 1 Arrive Vientiane and visit historic monuments
Meet at the airport and transfer to hotel. Afternoon-visit the historic temples such as Wat Prakeo, Wat Sisaket, Thatluang and Patuxai (Victory gate). Remaining time at leisure. Overnight at Hotel Lao or similar.

Day 2 Vientiane-Luangprabang
Breakfast, then transfer to airport for a flight to Luangprabang.
Upon arrival, transfer to hotel, refresh and visit the royal temples such as Wat Visun, Wat Sean, and Wat Xiengthong. Next, we will visit Phousi Mountain to watch sunset over the mighty Mekong River.
Overnight at Rama Hotel or Banlao Hotel.

Day 3 Luangprabrang-Pakou Cave
Breakfast and visit the former king's Palace (now a Museum). Boat trip on Mekong River to visit Pakou cave, the home of 1,000 of Buddha images. Next, we'll Ban Sanghai to observe the traditional way of producing rice wine at a local distillery. Afternoon-return to Luangprabang and visit the famous hand weaving village of Thai Lu Ban Phanom.
Overnight at Rama Hotel or Ban Lao Hotel.

Day 4 Luangprabang-Kuangsi Waterfalls
Breakfast, and drive to Kuangsi waterfalls some 30kms. Visit the hill tribe village of Ban Thapaen and do a short walking along the path of the falls. Afternoon- return to Luangprabang and visit the local market and silversmith shops.
Overnight at Rama Hotel or Ban Lao Hotel.

Day 5 Luangprabang-Vangvieng
Breakfast at hotel and drive through the scenic road to Vangvieng (about 245kms overland trip). En-route stop to visit the traditional villages. Arrive Vangvieng, check in hotel and visit natural cave (Chang cave).
Overnight at Elephant Crossing Hotel or Namxong Hotel or Similar.

Day 6 Vangvieng
Breakfast and depart for a full-day kayaking on Namxong river.
Overnight at Elephant Crossing Hotel or Namxong Hotel or Similar.

Day 7 Vangvieng-Vientiane (150kms)
Breakfast, then, drive to Vientiane. On the way, stop to visit at the Lao-Japanese "Po Sa Paper Making Project Ban Houei Mo, Hmong market km52.
On arrival, check in hotel and remaining time at leisure to explore Vientiane on your own. Overnight at Hotel Lao or similar.

Day 8 Departure from Vientiane
Breakfast and at leisure until transfer to airport for your next destination flight.
Guests can connect flights to Bangkok, Hanoi, Siem Reap, Phnom Penh, and Chiang Mai (few flights a week).
