Pokhara Himalaya Trek 6 Nights / 7 Days

Itinerary: Pokhara Himalaya Trek 7 Days:

Day 1
Kathmandu to Pokhara flight & Trek to Dhampus Dampus Village is situated on a hill slope and is a mix of Gurung and Magar ethnic settlement with guesthouses and teahouses. The mountain views and scenic valley seen from here is very superb. We will experience spectacular views of the majestic mountains and the valleys at sunset and sunrise.

Tour Program:
Early morning breakfast, drive to Kathmandu Airport and take a 30 minute scenic flight to Pokhara. Upon arrival at Pokhara Airport, meet our trekking crew at the airport, and drive Phedi (base), unload and trek to Dhampus Village. The trek from Phedi to Dhampus is uphill through semi-forests to villages with scenic views. Lunch served en-route.
Overnight at the best available lodge (B,L&D).

Day 2 Trek to Landruk Village
Get up early to view the sunrise over the Himalayas. Breakfast will follow once you are ready. The morning part of the trek is a gradual uphill and goes through a thin forest all along the trail. Some parts of the trek, we will see Himalayan orchids on the trees, different types of vegetation including some tropical broadleaf vines. We will also pass by teahouses, lodges and scattered small settlements as we trek. We will experience spectacular views of the majestic mountains and the valleys throughout the day. Lunch will be served on the way. Overnight in Landruk, a small Gurung village with couple of guesthouses.
Meals at local inns along the trek route and at lodges.
Overnight at best available lodge (B,L,D).

Day 3 Trek Ghandruk Village
Breakfast and then begin trek to Ghandruk Village, a big village with Gurung and Magar ethnic groups. The trek goes through scattered village settlements and valleys with farms. Today is an easy half-day trek. Once you reach Ghandruk, you will have spectacular Annapurna Himalayan views unfold before you. Overnight at lodge in Ghandruk. The mountain views from this village is superb. Afternoon, visit to Annapurna Conservation Office, schools and personal homes are possible. Overnight at best available lodge (BLD).

Day 4 Trek Ghandruk to Birethanti
Early wake up for sunrise over the Annapurna Himalayas.
Breakfast at the lodge and begin trek. Today's trek passes through villages and farmlands along the slope of Modhi Khola (river). It is an easy and scenic trek.
Birethanti is a small town situated at the Modhi Riverside. Trekkers and traders stop here overnight since the ancient times.
Overnight at best available lodge (BLD).

Day 5 Trek to Naya-pool and drive to Pokhara.
Early morning breakfast, trek to Naya Pool and drive to Pokhara.
Overnight at hotel. (BL).

Day 6 Pokhara to Kathamndu flight and at leisure
Early breakfast, check out and trek to Peace Pagoda above the Phewa Lake. Then, trek back to Phewa Lakeside and ride canoe to visit the temple of Barahi situated on a small island. (This two-storied pagoda is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Ajima. On Saturdays, devotees paddle across the lake carrying live animals for sacrifice). Note: Guests can do both of the above or only one of the above trips, time permiting. However, an early morning wake up, and touring the Phewa lake by a canoe is suggested if do not to visit the peace pagoda. After the above tour, drive to Pokhara Airport for an afternoon flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, meet and transfer to hotel. (BL).

Day 7 Departure from Kathmandu
Breakfast at the hotel and depart to airport for homeward bound flight.
Airport transfer will be provided. (B).
