Day 1: Arrive in Ha Noi (D)
Arrive at Noi Bai airport in Ha Noi, meet and transfer to hotel for check in. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Ha Noi - Ha Long (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Ha Long. Enjoy a relaxing 4 hours boat trip around the spectacular Halong Bay, the world heritage granted by UNESCO in 1994. Fresh sea food lunch is prepared and served on board. Relax on deck while cruising through the bay or take the opportunity to a refreshing swim. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Ha Long - Hanoi - LaoCai (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel. Drive back to Ha Noi for lunch at restaurant. Continue to visit Ethnology Museum, Temple of literature. Take 01 hour cyclo tour to visit Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Attend a performance of the famous Vietnamese traditional art of water puppetry at Thang Long Theatre. Transfer to Ha Noi train station. Overnight trip to Lao Cai in sharing comfortable sleeping compartment with 2 lower & 2 upper berths per compartment. Overnight on the train.
Day 4: Lao Cai - Sapa (B/L)
Early morning (approximate 05.30h), arrival at Lao Cai station, pick up and transfer to Sapa. Breakfast at hotel in Sapa. Trek to Cat Cat village to visit H'mong people. Lunch at a local restaurant. A scenic 6 km drive brings you to Ta Phin Villages, lying in a hillside meadow, where is home to Red Dzao and H'Mong people.
Day 5: Sapa - Bac Ha - Lao Cai (B/L)
Early breakfast at hotel. Check out from the hotel then depart by car for the highland town of Bac Ha where you can wander through the local ethnic market. Bac Ha is a center for alcohol manufacture and at the end of the busy day at the market the men folk can often be seen wending their merry way home. After lunch at a local restaurant time for a last look around Bac Ha before driving to Lao Cai, where you will board the overnight train to Ha Noi at around 20.15h.
Day 6: Ha Noi - Hue (B/L)
Arrival in Ha Noi at around 04.30h (but you might remain on board until 07.00h). Breakfast at coffee shop. Transfer to Noi Bai airport for flight to Hue, the former royal city of the 13 ruling Nguyen dynasties. Upon arrival, lunch to be served, continue to visit the Imperial Citadel and Forbidden City. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Hue (B/L)
Take a boat trip on Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the oldest ancient architectural structures for religious worship in Hue, continue to visit the royal tombs of Minh Mang, Tu Duc and Khai Dinh, Dong Ba Market. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Day 8: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An (B/L)
After breakfast at hotel, we start the spectacular drive over Hai Van Pass to Da Nang and continue to the charming historic town of Hoi An. Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit Hoi An ancient town. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 9: Hoi An - Da Nang - Nha Trang (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel. Lunch at a local restaurant. On our journey to Da Nang we stop at the Marble Mountain with its beautiful grottoes steps and temples, which can be reached by climbing steep steps (please wear appropriate shoes). Visit the Cham Museum and transfer to Da Nang airport for flight to Nha Trang. Meet at Nha Trang airport. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Nha Trang (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel. Boat trip to visit Tam and Mun islands. Lunch. PM: Continue to visit Cham Ponaga, Long Son Pagoda, Institute of Oceanography. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11: Nha Trang - Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival transfer to hotel and lunch. City tour: War Museum, the Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral, former Presidential Palace. Overnight at hotel.
Day 12: Ho Chi Minh - Cu Chi - Tay Ninh- Ho Chi Minh (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Cu Chi tunnels, around 75 km away Ho Chi Minh city. Visit Cu Chi Tunnels. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue to Tay Ninh - the center of Cao Dai Church. PM: Back to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13: Ho Chi Minh - Vinh Long - Ho Chi Minh (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Vinh Long. Boat trip on Mekong River to visit Cai Rang floating market, you also have the opportunity to watch local villagers producing rice paper, pop-rice and rice husking. Lunch at local restaurant. PM: Back to Ho Chi Minh city. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14: Full day Ho Chi Minh City Tour (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel. AM: Free at leisure. Lunch at restaurant. After lunch city tour including China Town, Ben Thanh Market, Thien Hau Pagoda. Dinner cruise on Saigon River with live music. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15: Ho Chi Minh City - Departure (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Day at leisure until transfer to Ho chi Minh City's Tan Son Nhat International Airport for departure.
